When I broke my shoulder, I suddenly became that person who could not open a jar or bottle. So I searched for a device to help. This jar opener grips everything, from water bottle caps to jar lids of all sizes. Just lay it over the cap or lid you want to open, adjust the size, then lock it in place in the appropriate slot. After that, it's an easy twist, as this design gives you plenty of leverage. Brilliant. It's just that simple, and it's been all I've needed to open everything.

I know someone that used to talk about ageing and how our hands and arms lose some strength. I dismissed it till I couldn't open a gallon jar of dill pickles easily. But this handy tool is adjustable so can open lots of different sizes of jars safely. I just love it.

It's EXCELLENT for me. The movable part snugs up on the bottle or jar, I squeeze and twist and almost instantly, the jar or bottle is open. I'm delighted. I had surgery on my thumb, which made my right hand very weak; it worked for me!

Perfect for arthritis sufferers. I've tried other jar openers but they were too hard for my hand to grasp tightly. With this tool, I can use both hands to twist and I haven't had any problems opening any size jar, small to large..

This is amazing! I use this opener numerous times, every day. It opens everything from pasta sauce and pickle jars to nail polish and water bottles. My arthritis is horrible, and this has given me some of my abilities back. Ordered one for my sister too!

The elderly and people with arthritis have difficulty completing daily can opening, this amazing tool enables you to open most soda and beer cans or jam LIDS with minimal force; it will not bring additional pressure to your fragile hand joints and ligaments!

Easiest jar opener ever found. I remember my mom use to have one very similar if not the same thing. It has been a long time ago but I used when I was a kid. I'm now in my 60's and have arthritis in my hands therefore it's very hard to open jars especially wide mouth jars. With this simple little gadget it is the easiest thing to do now. I'm so glad I didn't spend double the money on the "battery" operated type. This works great and is very easy to use and *no batteries* required!

I don't know how we lived without this until now. I discovered this jar opener at Mom's house and bought one for myself. Then I bought as many as I could find and gave them to my book club and other friends. Really, you need one.

I was amazed that it opened the most difficult large jars very easily. Before I was using a 16 inch pipe wrench to open these difficult jars. This small opener only puts some small dents on the side of the lid, but it is very worth it. This is now one of our most useful kitchen tools that we have.

With arthritis in my hands, I have trouble opening water bottles, 2 liter bottles, spaghetti sauce jars and the like and have had one of these “gadgets” for years. I looked all over for another one for our RV. I was so excited to find this one on Fairdales. I like the metal cuz I know it won’t break. This is so easy to use.

I recently purchased 15 of these! They are not just for my older friends but also friends and relatives who are 30 or 50. It is a great and durable item to open jars with minimal effort and I have tried others. Who wants to deal with a large item or one with batteries!! Small and gets the job done, great product!

Wonderful jar opener. My hands hurt all the time! This jar opener makes it easy to open jars and bottles, no matter what the size. I like it so much that I bought one for my sister and my sister-in-law!
