Much easier than manually lifting. I used to hold the end of the bed up while my wife made the corners. I am not always around, and I am getting older. With these, just drape the sheet over the bed, stuff it in, fold the corner, and pull it out. Best of all, when you pull it back out, the sheet does not get blown out by a big puff of air. Who knew these existed? I came across this by accident but I am glad I did. It helps so much to make my bed, especially with a heavy large mattress. I tuck each one between the mattress and the spring and then tuck in the corners of the top sheet, etc. Then I use it to tuck the sides of the sheet in.
