This is brilliant, I've always been disappointed with my pasta using other cookers. I think this is a great product and an awesome alternative, especially when you are single and live alone. I think that having the ability to not boil water and then wait another 9 to 10 minutes for your pasta to cook is great especially when you want to save time or you do not want to create a lot of dirty pans waiting to make pasta and then make your actual sauce.

I love to cook and I use a huge number of pots and pans every time I entertain. However, I live alone and most of my meals are for two people (I cook dinner for my downstairs neighbor most nights) and I am trying to simplify things so I don't spend as much time cleaning as I do cooking. When I am making a dinner for two or four people and pasta is a part of the meal, I now use the microwave pasta cooker. There is no compromise on quality, it just makes it easier. I really like it!

So far so good, got it yesterday and tried it out with whole wheat pasta, 2 servings. Later on my son wanted some so I showed him how to use it (he's home from college so this will be perfect for him. I will probably order another one for him to take back, he loved it). This is super convenient and after I drained it I added the sauce and cheese right into the cooker. Interested to see how different pastas will cook...

I had already purchased one for myself and loved it. I purchased another for my newly engaged niece. I love the fact that you can cook an entire box of pasta at one time. My kids are addicted to any kind of pasta. Using this I can cook any type they are in the mood for and then change it up with different kinds of sauce. This product is just as advertised. It's sturdy, easy to clean, and the pasta comes out absolutely delicious and not overcooked. I gave this one as a gift, but I love mine, so far, I have cooked pasta, elbow macaroni, ziti etc. Don't have to drag out the big pot and wait for water to boil, don't have to turn your back and the pot has boiled over all over your stove, it cooks drains and serves.

This is my favorite thing in the kitchen! I do not like cooking on a stove and using skillets with oil that splatter everywhere or pans filled with water that boil over if you don't watch them like a hawk. I just got my new microwave pasta cooker and tried it out on lasagne and I'm thrilled with the ease making lasagne has become with the microwave pasta cooker!

One of the best purchases of my life. I had one for years and suddenly, after someone came and helped in my kitchen, the lid disappeared. So started on a quest and finally found on Fairdales. Guess I should have looked here first. This is probably the most used thing in my kitchen. Steams veggies, cooks pasta. Top rack shelf dishwasher safe. Especially wonderful during the summer when I don't really feel like having big pans of water on the stove to cook pasta.

I would recommend this to everyone! I have used it for several types of pasta a number of times, and the pasta was perfect every time. Depending on the type of pasta, you can have an impressive dinner on the table in 16-20 minutes... just heat some bread sticks and toss a salad while the pasta cooks. No one has to know the sauce came in a bottle and the bread was frozen!

This is the second one I have purchased - for two different kitchens (it does not wear out!) It's always worked wonderfully for me, and on that note, I love it. My roommate and I use it when we make any sort of pasta, and it's simple to use. I just pour a whole box in, which is typically 8 servings, and we can store the container away in the fridge for leftovers for a good while. If you make a lot of pasta, or even just eat it occasionally, give this a try, it makes it a lot easier.

For our uses (we live in an apartment) this thing is perfect. Especially since we have a small stove and can barely make more than two things at once, this thing saves space AND time.
